How do I find games for a specific player?

The number ONE question we get is how come you can not find a certain player. We only have player pages for players that are highlighted in an audio and or video, there is a show, interview or news reel about them. The vast majority of the content is geared towards 30’s through the 80’s, so it is unlikely Mike Trout will have a page at this time.

How to find a player: Go to player tab:  https://www.classicbaseballbroadcasts.com/players/

(Players are listed alphabet by first name by default).

Go to Start your Search: Start typing a players name to find a player or team name to show players who played on those teams.

Once you are on the player page the first clickable tab is “Teams”. We listed all the teams a player played on, and you can click to visit that teams page.

There is a brief tabulation of awards & stats. If you want a deep dive on stats we suggest going to baseball-reference.

The next clickable tab is the “Games” section. Here you will see games this player played in. You can visit any game and listen to the game audio by clicking “Listen”.  Games are color coded – regular season, all star games and World Series/playoffs to make them easy to find.  By default we show 9 games, at bottom of game images click “Next” to see more if there are more than 9. Right hand corner shows how many total games there are.

Below the games are News Reels –

Reels are interviews, radio shows, team highlights featured or in some cases mentioning the player. Click any reel by hitting the listen button.

The last section is players that debuted the same year. You can see who else debuted that year and vist that players page.
